Immediate Occupancy Available

What is "Immediate Occupancy Available"?

From time to time, the State encounters a need for office space on an emergency, interim basis pending resolution of a longer-term space requirement. These needs have been in a range of 3,000-25,000 square feet of space with a lease term in the range of 6 months up to 2 years, sometimes with one-year options beyond the initial requirement.

Typically, these spaces would need to be readied for the State's occupancy within a 30-60 day timeframe. Our experience has been that recently vacated space and/or vacant space still under lease by another tenant have best satisfied the State's requirements.

Most of these spaces have been identified through canvassing an area via telephone or in person. In addition, we would like to develop and maintain a list of available properties for future reference. While the need for such space is not an everyday occurrence, quick action is required when the need arises. If you have a property you think would be capable of meeting these basic criteria, we would like to include the property in our database.

In order to file your property with us, you can download the Property Profile Form (pdf 157k) and mail or fax the completed form to us at the address referenced on the form, or call (609) 292-2143 to request that the form be sent to you. Please indicate at the top of the form or in a cover letter that the space is available as a possibility for a short-term emergency situation ("Immediate Occupancy Available").
